2 months ago I was in the process of going through a complicated breakup. Just as things came to an end with (removed at his request) a new face popped into my life. His name is Derek. He’s 32, has 2 beautiful children named Julia (7) and Joshua (5) and is an all around great guy.
Derek originally asked me out a few times before on Facebook and I declined. Things at home were not going well but I am not a cheater. Eli and I called it quits on June 16th, Derek asked me out again…I finally gave in and accepted.
June 20th, 2011 Derek and I met for lunch and the rest is history. 2 months later we are going strong and have finally decided to ‘make it official’ and let everyone know that we are together and happy.
The future for us is a mystery but as of now, it looks bright.
